SCARECROW - DVD (2003)
I purchased this movie because I believed it to be a digital enhancement - NOT a remake - of the original movie from the 1970s. However, this is an absolutely horrendous modernized remake of the original with plenty of awful music and totally unbelievable elements added. The characters lack substance, intelligence, credibility, and most notably talent of any kind. The effects are not much better than those you might expect to find in a second-rate Saturday morning cartoon. Without question, this is the worst attempt at a remake that I've ever endured and I hope the directors and cast dont quit their day jobs. The worst insult comes in the credits when this travesty of film has the audacity to mention horror greats Stephen King and Wes Craven as part of their "inspiration." This ... one of the best bad movies i've seen!!
i loved this movie, and not because of the quality, more so because of the lack of quality. if you're looking for a movie with horribly cheesey lines and killings along with an unbelieveable (and not in a good way) cast, this is the movie for you! my friends and i couldn't stop laughing during this movie, and the best part is it only took 8 days to shoot! if you're looking for a cheap laugh and a poor quality movie, this is for you!i loved this movie, and not because of the quality, more so because of the lack of quality. if you're looking for a movie with horribly cheesey lines and killings along with an unbelieveable (and not in a good way) cast, this is the movie for you! my friends and i couldn't stop laughing during this movie, and the best part is it only took 8 days to shoot! if you're looking for a cheap laugh and a poor quality movie, this is for you!
