    KATY PERRY is not one of the boys SHE is one of the MEN

    The entire album is loaded with fine melodies. YOU won't find a single track that dissapoints you. Loaded with crunchy and raw guitar riffs as well as pure simple harmonic new wave sounds. WHo can also forget catchy song lyrics. SOme say she can be compared to Gwen Stefani, however I dissagree, Katy Perry goes on extra step and brings in a charm and song writing method like no other artist has done before her. She truly is a musical genius and I can't wait till her next album comes out.

    KATE PERRY is................BITTERSWEET????????

    What can I say about a GORGEOUS, SMOKING-HOT BODY........in addition to "SLICK-ROCK" dance tracks that remind me of the 80's (rick springfield anyone???). I love the "GLAMOUR-GOTH" style of kate perry and she knows just the CORRECT buttons to press for those TESTOSTERONE-MALE sex drive's in which she so OFTEN displays (with plenty of CLEAVAGE of course)..........however, there is ONE drawback about kate perry that is the "ELAPHANT IN THE ROOM"......she is a huge SUCK-UP to the "ANNOINTED ONE"---yes, unfortunately she displays her BIASED, political views often on stage for you guessed it......BARRACK OBAMA !!!!!!!!!!! Sad, but true !!!!!!!!!!!!

    product review

    item was as advertised. Quality of the songs was acceptable. This CD set is obviously a big seller for her especially with the "I Kissed a Girl" track on it. She is a hit in the pop rock and alternative rock genre right now. Her "to the point" style and music lyrics remind me of Alanis Morisette years back in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

    Excellent CD!

    I bought this CD just for the song "I kissed a Girl", but was nicely surprised to find the whole CD is excellent. Great music talent, and I would recommend buying it. I hate wasted CD's with only a couple of good songs on it, but this catches you by surprise. Hope she stays around a while with some more great hits...and wouldn't be surprised if some of the other songs don't chart out to number #1.

    Good guitar driven pop

    2/3 of this record is good. The songs that turned her into a star like "Hot and Cold and "I kissed a girl" make the disc worth the $9 price. The disc was copy secured so I could not put it on my itunes. I have to buy the songs I want on my ipod separately, that sucked. I am a CD collector so I did have the need for the cover art and all. Katy is beautimous, the art is in her antique stylings she's been seen in. There are a couple other note worthy songs with such lyrics as "You're so Gay but you don't even like boys." She's sassy and fresh. Best thing I've heard since Amy Whinehouse's last effort.
