Interesting but Hard to believe
Perhaps I've been inoculated against this type of story by Wayne's earlier pairing with Maureen O'Hara in the Quiet Man . A strong willed woman versus Wayne. The scenery and story is good but it just seemed a bit forced. If you are a John Wayne or Sophia Loren fan you'll survive. Otherwise I recommend to view a trailer before viewing.

Alittle out of the Wayne norm
Actually this is not the best John Wayne film that he ever made. In same ways it is alittle not his norm!. Im going to say that if your a fan of his it really doesn't matter for he filled a screen with a great manner that few actors did. Just as Sophia Loren did in many ways also. But it is a film that has a good idea, and it is brought to those who watch it a different side of Wayne. I'll tell you seeing John and Sophia together is not what you may might think! She is the same as in all her movies and really doesn't act at all. But her beauty is something to see. I'm sure that is why she made it in films in the first place. She has a timeless beauty that is unmistakable, and a way that men find just plane beautiful.Never-the-less it is a Wayne film and since i am a ... Perfect title for this movie
Another one of my favorites from John Wayne It has a great story and well worth purchasing.

Lefend of the Lost
I am a big fan of John Wayne, and have been for over 55 years since I first whatched his early Westerns on TV when I was about 4 years old! Some how I have missed seeing this adventure movie of "The Duke" and Sophia Loren all these many years. So I bought the DVD to see it for the first time. Let me tell you what a Real Pleasure it was to watch this new John Wayne movie (new to me). I can't believe that I never saw this movie before! And with Sophia Loren, young and beautiful, together with a young "Duke" made this truely a unique movie! The scenery, and acting was some of the best that you will ever see in a movie. And for someone that is tired of seeing the "Fake" computer generated stuff in ALL the current movies, this movie was a pleasant change from what hollywood is making now! ... Good movie, get it and watch it.
I bought the movie because I have always felt it was good movie for John Wayne and Sophia Loren. They play very well together, in a story that keeps your attention and has a great setting. This movie can be seen from time to time on Television but it usually is never shown in its Theatrical release format (Widescreen). So if you are a John Wayne and or Sophia Loren Fan, here is your chance to see one or both of them in a movie I think you will very much like.I bought the movie because I have always felt it was good movie for John Wayne and Sophia Loren.
