Product Information

Well cultivated on previous Nintendo systems, Natsume's Harvest Moon series takes root on Wii for the first time with Tree of Tranquility. As in most other games in the farming-RPG series, players begin by taking over a run-down homestead with great potential, but this game's old farm is on an enchanted island that's lost its magic. The Mother Tree that once gave life to the island seems to have withered away. Where crops once flourished, the land is now rough and dry.<br><br>The game makes use of the Wii Remote for many farmstead actions. Different tools, such as rakes, shovels, and watering cans, can be "equipped." Tools are used by mimicking their real-life motions with the controller. It's up to the player's character to bring life back to the island -- one plot at a time, and one friendship at a time. By bringing nurture and hard work back to the farm, and helping neighbors to do the same, the magic may yet be returned to the island.

    Harvest Moon is One good game

    I think that harvest moon is a very unique and fun game to play. At times it can fel repetetive but you get over that pretty quick. Its very similar to a sims game but takes place on a farm with a lot of loveable characters. You have moved to an island town that was once brimming with life and energy. But now, however, the island is in trouble and it's up to you to save it. The mystical Mother Tree that once watched over the island has disappeared, and the Harvest Goddess is nowhere to be found. The island has lost its connection with nature and the inhabitants don't know what to do. Till the earth, befriend and raise animals, nurture friendships, and build a family. When the giant Mother Tree is reborn, the Harvest Goddess will be able to return and bring prosperity to the island once ...

    Monotony and bliss; fun but too easy.

    The overall graphics are gameplay are good. The tasks are simplistic with some newly added features to gameplay such as a wardrobe with outfits to purchase based on season, mini games, and a greater range of characters to marry. My one complaint is that it is too easy to make money and once all the main items have been purchased, continuning to play grows monotonous. Compared to other games in the series this one falls short in that it isn't as much fun to replay. I found the mini games almost impossible to beat against a screen full of AI characters with eradic impulses. It's something of a nightmare where cursors are attacking the target from all angles and your cursor gets lost in the mix. I enjoyed the newly added characters, expanded world, and multi-places to fish. It is a fun game ...

    These games are always so fun and enjoyable. The story line and graphics are great. Such adorable animals also.

    Harvest Moon Tree of Tranquility, Great! =)

    Its fun and addictive. =) You can run a ranch anyway you want.You can get married to almost anyone you want.Have a child,adopt pets,Buy land,Even design your clothing! Or you can just do the story which might I add will take forever. Pros:Addicting,Fun,Your own little life. Cons:The game goes at its own pace not yours,the graphics though still lovely could have been abit better in some places,the story will first take maybe two seasons to just get one rainbow but it will get going. Eventually...
