  • NES Ninja Gaiden 1 complete in box

Like the two other Ninja Gaiden games this one is just as hard, constant enemies coming at you at all directions and this game is one of those were you kill an enemy and it comes back when you move to far to the left or right of the screen. Learn the patterns or use Game Genie with codes, I love the game because it is so hard and I'm into this series. I recommend this series of Ninja Gaiden games to all gamers and collectors into the series🤘😆🤘

  • One of the best actions games, hands down

I have very fond memories of Ninja Gaiden. I got it while I was in 6th grade and, since I didn't have many games at the time, I played the crap out of it. Everything about Ninja Gaiden made it an enjoyable experience from the smooth gameplay to the well-scripted cut scenes. Back when I first saw screen shots of Ninja Gaiden in a game magazine, I thought the graphics look messy. It wasn't until I actually played it, I saw for myself that the graphics are quite good. They are very detailed, which explains why a small and grainy screenshot in a magazine wouldn't do them justice. I thought the music was some of the best on the NES. It had a techno-rock beat to it, which is appropriate since Ninja Gaiden came out in 1989, but also set the pace for this fast paced game. Of all the Ninja ...

  • Nintendo Hard

Tight controls, unforgettable music, disgusting difficulty. There's a reason that this is the go-to game whenever folks talk about the age of "Nintendo Hard" video games; it's a shining example of the phenomenon. Buy it, get defeated by it, weep, get better, conquer it, and become a better person for your trouble. This game will change your life. (This game will probably not change your life. Regardless, it is very very good.)

  • Ninja Gaiden

A simply excellent game. It possesses wonderful controls for an 8-bit game and pleasing graphics and character design. It follows a swift but not overwhelming pace as you can perfect your jump-slices to dash through levels of varying difficulty. It fortunately allows infinite continues across the six acts; however, if you were to die on the final boss you go back to the beginning of the act (eww, his second for is hard so this can get really annoying). The game has great sound (you'll love the slash of the katana) and well made cutscenes (the ending is one of the most memorable on the NES- an enjoyably politically incorrect womanizing line). Also has vibrant color art on label making it overall worthy to be called one of the greatest NES games made.

  • Really hard. Learning curve is somewhere between moderate-hard. Good luck!

Hardest game of all time is still the hardest game of all-time. Be warned: if you get the itch to dust off you NES or find this thing online, or whatever (I'm sure the new systems have it for download and all of that jazz), this is honestly the hardest game I have ever played. And most of my video gaming came when these were the games that flooded the market (or rather, I was most heavily into video games from the NES-N64 period, or maybe just NES & SNES... I played N64 w/ my friends and such). This game is brutal. And I won't even mention the last world/boss(es) that will make you want to throw your controller through whatever you're rigging a NES up through these days. I don't know why I bought this again, honestly. It's just as hard and hellish as it was 20 years ago or so. If you're ...
