Clash at Demonhead
This is one of those rare games that you can get for cheap that is worth every penny. A solid action game, Clash at Demonhead offers fast-paced run-and-gun side scrolling action, the ability to upgrade your character (his name is Bang by the way) using money scrounged from downed foes to by various upgrades, supplies and weapons. In addition, it has adventure elements in that you get to explore an entire mountain be going through different routes and choosing where and when you want to travel, as well as being able to choose which boss to fight first. The enemies look like what Tim Burton would have created for a Kirby game, but have an odd charm nonetheless. The graphics are quite detailed for an NES game, and the music will not disappoint. using many different weapons, upgrades, and ... This is one of those rare games that you can get for cheap that is worth every penny. Sweet!
It's a rare game but cheap.. I can't believe it was referenced in Scott Pilgrim vs The world.. But the problem for me is I never knew the name of the game.. For the past 6 weeks, all I could remember was a character from the manual holding a guitar with hair in his face and hands that looked like those plants that pop out of the pipes in mario.. Nice to be able to play this game again(after searching online to see if there was an nes manual database)..It's a rare game but cheap.. Entertaining game
Found out about this game on a review by Happy Video Game Nerd ( http://retrowaretv.com/?TabId=528 ) and i became interested in it. The game is very simple adventure but with alot of twist and funny story. The bad thing is that its really hard sometimes finding out where to go but the more you play the game the more you find out and the game grows on you more and more.
