    Read It 3 times, then study it

    Quality book as usual from the publisher, Hazelden. As a menber that is into history, it is a good look into the early thoughts of early menbers. Some new data that I have not seen before or ever heard mentioned. Some of the wording left out of the first edition and certainly helpful for recovery seem to have been left out as to allow for inclusiveness and not to exclude anyone. My only disappointment was no mention of the several hundred pages that were edited before it got to this draft. I have seen a few other copies of "the original manuscribt" including Clarence S. which is intresting also, but far from this quality. A real treasure in my collection of several hundred books on this subject. My Thanks to the person that purchased it at auction for sharing it.

    Very nice reproduction of the original manuscript!

    I did not realize when I bought this that it would be so nice, and so large. Well worth the money. Anyone who loves the BB as much as me .. get this, it's lovely.

    See one of the most important works of the 20th century

    The origional manuscript is a nice piece of history and both versions of "The book that started it all" do a nice job of presenting it. The quality of the bindings and papers used in both versions is first rate. Four paragraphs from 'Bills story' are in his own hand in the first few pages of the manuscript. My hats off to Ken Roberts for not hiding this light under a bushel.

    The beginning

    Anyone intrigued with the most altruistic movement will love this book. Very insightful and great to see the work of the first 100.
