Later the lost package was found, so I had two. I ended up sending the extra one back to seller with their pre-shipping label. TLDR—-great communication and great customer service. 10/10 👏

Positive feedback for sure because everything went as it should. However, if you’re in a hurry to get your items, not going to happen. The seller obviously drops a lot of packages off at the post office, so it takes the post office forever to accept and move the item (Sat pending acceptance for almost 7 days which I’ve never seen). Overall good seller and the item was as described. Good communication.

Saris Freedom Hitch Bike Rack
Arrived in good condition almost fully assembled. Was easy to mount to my car into the trailer hitch. Like that it's American Made, light weight (one of my priorities) and that the bikes do ride securely on the rack. Where it could use some improvement is the it doesn't fold up which would keep the rack from sticking out so far when not being used. Also, it doesn't fold or drop down either, necessitating removing the bikes to open the rear gate on my CR-V. It would have been nice for lock to be included that would prevent being unbolted from the trailer hitch. EZ on & off
Bicycles are very easy to load and unload onto carrier. And, bicycles are more secure while transporting on this carrier than your standard bike carrier. My wife and I are very pleased with this carrier.

Easy and well designed
This is so easy to put together following very straight forward instructions. First time set up of the bike wheel tray positions takes a few minutes and working out the best clamp points on the upright for the frames, but once set up it is easy to drop the bikes in and out over and over again. To put it in context, it takes about 4 minutes to set up one bike position initially, so it's not exactly time consuming, but reading other reviews you would think it takes hours and a degree in nuclear physics!!! The upright rail folds down so you can easily stow the rack in the back of your car while you are off riding, or buy a hitch lock, either way it will take you 2 minutes with a wrench to remove the retaining bolt and pack it away. I ride a 29er on an XL frame as I'm 6'5" so I was worried ... This is so easy to put together following very straight forward instructions. It's a struggle to load or unload for a senior or lady biker.
The hold down straps are terrible, the overall adjustments are a pain and getting my bike off from the back position is a struggle. I have another of their bike racks called Thelma and it is very easy to load and unload. Very disappointed.
