This DVD contains two tales. In MERMAID IN A MANHOLE, an artist who has recently lost his wife finds a diseased and dying mermaid in a sewer. He brings her home and tries to help her. Though he is only able to watch her slowly die, she encourages him to use her body in the creation of his art. Based on an actual Tokyo police case, HE NEVER DIES looks at an investigation into a case of extreme suicide, in which a man appears to have survived an extraordinarily long time into the destruction of his own body. Be warned--GUINEA PIG contains much stronger violence than the average view is accustomed to...

    a hit & a miss

    Mermaid in a Manhole was the best of the two stories the DVD, but it was also a bit of a letdown, but it had plenty of Gore that's what saved it. He Never Dies however though was not as engaging & was a disappointment not much Gore as I thought, but overall happy with my purchase, at least it's something different.

    Mermaid In A Manhole

    cheesy special effects can't diminish this gory OTT story about a painter and his model..a dying mermaid that he meets in his favorite haunt....the sewer....
