Best bang for buck!
I've been playing professionally for over 20 years and have lost count of how many boost pedals I've tried. For the price point the TC Mini boost wins hands down. If you're on a really tight budget and want a pedal that's really clear, this pedal stand alone. There are a lot of other boost pedals I really like with extra features like separate Bass and Treble but they're $130 to $150. You can pick up the TC Mini boost for about $50. Great little pedal!
This pedal does exactly what it advertises. First of all it's small and takes virtually no room on your pedal board. Secondly it provides a true bypass boost for leads, switching to guitars that push a weaker signal or if you just want to push that amp a bit and get the tone you want. This pedal is brilliant.

Great little signal booster for acoustic or electric guitar
Transparent booster, use it for acoustic guitar (yamaha ll6)that doesnt have a built in preamp to amplify signal from piezo pickup, use it on looper. Gives exact volume control over each overdub, works good and is quite transparent with maybe just a hair off increase on high frequencys but all in all a great preamp/ booster...

Good low cost clean boost
I bought this as an alternative to an Xotic EP boost. They are not the same thing but similar. I'd have no problem using it in front of any amp to give it that extra oomph. Low settings thicken up single coils. Mid settings will drive the amp more and high settings start getting a bit flabby. Compared to an EHX LPB-1 it is definitely cleaner. My only complaint is that it's a lot noisier than I expected. It has a good hiss to it when you aren't playing. It's nothing I'd get rid of it for and nothing that would compromise a decent audio recording.I bought this as an alternative to an Xotic EP boost. They are not the same thing but similar. The perfect clean boost, even for bass!
I'm a bass player and needed a boost to bring up the volume during a lick that might get otherwise drowed out by the band. Just set the amount of boost you need, step on the switch, play the lick and then release, bam! It will not color the tone at all, it just makes it louder.
