Product Information

Nikon COOLPIX P2 is a revolutionary compact digital camera with Wi-Fi capability, excellent imaging performance and an array of advanced features.The COOLPIX P2 has built-in Wi-Fi LAN support to allow picture taking without wires and cables. In addition, the camera has USB connectivity, which makes it easy to hook it up to a computer or other peripherals. Wireless transfer allows the photographer to send pictures from the memory card or the camera's internal memory direct to a selected computer on command. Wireless shooting automatically transfers each picture to a selected computer as soon as it is shot and can be viewed with Nikon's powerful PictureProject software. Wireless printing also delivers the convenience of cable-free direct printing to PictBridge-compatible printers.This camera allows the user to correct images in-camera, thanks to the incorporation of three unique Nikon features. The D-Lighting function has the power to improve images taken with excessive back light or insufficient flash - automatically creating a copy of the selected shot, but with enhanced detail and light applied exactly where necessary.The Portrait (Face AF) Mode has the ability to detect a human face in the frame achieving sharp focus for it when the subject is facing the camera from a typical portrait distance.The COOLPIX P2 is compact, making it comfortable to shoot with and easy to carry virtually anywhere. It also features a newly designed grip for more confident shooting and the advantage of a large, bright and easy-to-view 2.5-inch LCD.

    Many features, excellent pictures

    I had a CoolPix but broke it accidently in a fall. I wanted to replace it as pictures were excellent, it had a lot of features and was reliable/dependable. Love the small compact size.

    Great Camera for the Price

    Works as expected for an older generation camera. It was a perfect give for my 11 year old son who loves it. Takes photos and video. I recommend it for younger ages, unless you are traveling and need a cheaper camera.

    Love my new, old camera

    I bought this camera when it first came out way back when. I used it for years, took great pictures. Then I dropped it while on vacation and broke it. I have had 3 new cameras since, none of which I have cared for or took as good of a picture as this one. After 3 years with these other cameras I decided to see if I could find this one online anywhere. I found it on ebay and got a great price, it came quickly and I so happy to be using it again.

    Nikon Coolpix P2

    I really needed a new digital camera, and I'd heard great things from my son about the Coolpix P2. It was delivered immediately after purchase, and I've been using it all afternoon since I got it. It's working fantastic, and is a great camera -- I highly recommend it to anyone interested in a new digital camera.

    Nice & very cool, functions flawlessly, I am impressed.

    I am particularly impressed with the ease of use. I am kind of new to digital photography but with a cute little camera like the Coolpix P2 and all its features I felt like a pro. I have taken pictures of everything and in every mode, this is my best friend now
