Rolling the open road from east to west, bringing produce from the farm to the market, this colorful bunch are the backbone of the national economy. Searching truck stops far and wide, director Doug Pray (HYPE!) manages to convince a few of these asphalt cowboys to let him hop along for a ride in their rigs, and a little conversation along the road. The picture he gets is one of hardworking individuals who don't fit the trucker stereotype, and a way of life increasingly under threat by rising gas prices, corporatization, and government interference. It's a wild, fun, and ultimately moving road trip that's well worth taking.

"One of a Kind"
Being a truck driver for 26 years, this is a the BEST all around documentary on truck drivers i have EVER seen. This shows you exactly what we have to go through on a day by day basis. It also shows you the Beautiful side of why most of us choose to travel the countryside without someone standing over our shoulder. Have you often wondered how your product gets from the manufacture to the store? Big Rig Trucking - a short look at Americas strugge A+
I rented this movie one evening on my cables on demand feature, and ended up watching it a few times, to where it was cheaper for me to buy the darn thing! I read some reviews here that claim that this is not accurate or so, and i still enjoyed it. This movie brings alot to the table as far as where America really runs from, diesel fuel prices, the government trying to control anything it can. After watching this movie be prepared to have your blood boil a little bit, I still feel as though all of the truckers should stop for a week and go play some golf, or something - you deserve that vacation - If the libs can do it why cant you! Its sad to see people who are the tires for this deconstructive nation get treated so poorly and having a government that can even maintain its budget, or do ... Great Rig Movie
Really gets you into the seat of what 18 wheeler drivers go through. This is a great movie to watch.
