Evil Under the Sun - disappointing
I decided not to give this game the bottom rating but it certainly was disappointing. The main reason was I did not feel engaged - I'll explain below. But first, I need to say that I love Agatha Christie's books and her darling Poirot, love when David Suchet, who resembles the character very well, is on PBS, and so Poirot's "detective style" was ok (although graphically, everything was a bit stilted). I found the game frustratingly boring after the first few "Acts" because frankly, one spent 75% of the game just shuffling around looking for the other players. The puzzles were not that hard so I'm guessing this was one way to keep you in the loop. I was able to guess ahead of time what needed to be done in much of the game but because I could not find the person necessary without ... I decided not to give this game the bottom rating but it certainly was disappointing. The main reason was I did not feel engaged - I'll explain below. The other problem was that in some cases the same dialogue or comment was repeated continually and had little to do with solving the case and yet a very important dialogue would slip by and one would not be able to recover what was said. This happens mostly when you are in the "eavesdropping" mode but in another case a very important letter was handed over to the chief constable but not retained in the notebook documents. The "notebook" that Hastings carries around also is inconsistent with regard to the "steps" that need to be done. Don't rely on that to keep you informed. I expected something a bit more engaging, puzzling, and challenging but alas, it was not to be. I suppose that since I just got done playing Dark Fall, Evil Under the Sun didn't have a chance!!

Boredom Under the Sun
After playing the wonderful game "Murder on the Orient Express" I was excited about the possibility of playing another Agatha Christie game. So I bought "Evil Under the Sun." I started out boring and is managing to maintain the status-quo. I am really disappointed. The graphics of course are beautiful but the storyline is so slow and you waste a lot of time going back and forth. In "Murder" I got a chance to talk to a lot of people and do some interesting things. It was fun getting clues and talking to suspects. The ending was a real hoot! I hope that this will eventually get better! I have one more Christie game after this. I loved every minute of the gameplay. Agatha Christie never disappoints.

The game was in perfect condition! Just as described!
I love mystery games and have played similar ones. I was in a local store and saw this game but it was 30 dollars and I did not want to spend that much. I checked ebay and found this seller. The game came quickly and I loved it! It was easy to follow but yet hard enough to make it interesting. The characters were interesting and I liked I could interact with them.
