Product Information

Inspired by such hits as Konami's Dance Dance Revolution, Activision's Dancing with the Stars offers 36 licensed songs and both cooperative and competitive modes for two players. Based on ABC's weekly dance competition, Dancing with the Stars features nine previous celebrity contestants, including Emmitt Smith, Stacy Keibler, Mario Lopez, and Joey Lawrence. The couples must perform the cha-cha, tango, mambo, samba, rumba, foxtrot, waltz, and other dances. <br><br>Players will follow each routine by moving the Wii Remote and Nunchuk in the same directions as the arrows displayed on screen. Other Wii-specific touches include the ability to replicate such maneuvers as the twist, hot potato, and hand jive by following the same motions. After the performance, the television show's three judges will offer their critique. Featured songs include "Put Your Records On"," "I Like the Way You Move," "She's a Lady," "These Boots Were Made for Walking," and "The Final Countdown."

    Dancing with the stars

    Very fun game, had tons of fun playing against my kids. There where many different dance routings to choose from. The game was easy to start up and not that difficult to play or progress to the next level. The packaging was excellent, there were no deficiencies in the game, and it arrived in excellent condition. I enjoyed it, there was nothing to dislike about this game. I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys the show and who enjoys dancing. The music was great as well. All three of my children found it very exciting to compete against each other. There were many different characters to choose from. Great game.

    Dancing With The Stars (Wii)

    I love the fact that the game was so cheap. My little cousins just got the wii and they are infatuated with it. so what better than a game for the wii, for christmas. it's great! a cheap gift, that will keep them active, and it even comes wrapped in plastic. awesome! I can't wait to see their face! I have another cousin, who has this game. and they say they really get a work out from the dancing with the stars game. you really have to get dancing to win! what better can you get as a gift?

    Waaaay Better than boogie

    Fun for the whole family, accessbible and challenging. The soundtrack is the best! Multiplayer is also fun! My only gripe is that we didn't have an option to use the dance pad. That would've made it perfect. But a great rhythm game!
