Motorola MD7161 - Excellent Phone System
The Motorola MD7161-3 is a 5.8GHz expandable headset phone system (up to 4 headsets) with a digital answering machine. All 3 of my cordless units stay off their chargers 14-16 hours a day and I have yet to have any problems with the batteries. With outdoor use I have found the range of any of the phones is about 40 yards from it's base. Even though the expandable phones only require being plugged in to an electrical outlet, they also pick up and display the caller ID tags from the main base. Although I do not use them, it is compatible with Vonage or other Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) phone services and it has 3 separate mail boxes if you use that feature. All 3 phones that came with this package have seen their fair share of being dropped and lightly "abused" around the house and ... Good buy, works well, buit you might wish to check the batteries installed.
The product did exactly what I expected and performed even better in some aspects. The speakerphone was loader and clearer than any I have used at home or commercially. The conference call feature was easy to use and all parties were easy to hear. Those on the other handsets did not overpower the outside callers voice. i only have one complaint, I think that the batteries in the remote handsets do not holder their charge as well as the base unit's handset. I think maybe these batteries were somewhat stale and therefore do not take as deep a charge, as a result they do not last as long.The product did exactly what I expected and performed even better in some aspects. not good
It was used. Could not see parts of the screen. So I did not expect much and that is exactly what I got. I really do not want to say any more about the product. thanks
