This 3D action sequel features the multi-talented title character of the previous year's Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, who is now imbued with even more skills and abilities, and faces an even greater threat. The Dahaka would like to have a word with you.
And so, the eponymous Prince of Persia has undone the effects of the Hourglass of Time which the Maharajah had looted before the events of Sands of Time. The good news is, Farah, - among many others - still lives. The bad news is, a big scary creature called the Dahaka just so happens to be happy about it like Charles Manson is currently the President of the United States (in other words, said creature is quite furious about these recent events), so the Prince is running for his life and is eventually informed that in order to officially survive the Dahaka's wrath, he must go to the Island of Time, where the Sands of Time had been created. There, his Highness must go back in time and talk the Empress of Time out of creating the Sands, effectively making his immediate ordeal nothing more ... However, just before his new journey, he is warned that "You cannot change your fate. No man can." Now, if you have played Sands of Time before, then you will eventually notice that the only changes given to the platforming aspects are sliding down curtains via your sword and ropes that are attached to the wall (the ones in Sands of Time were CEILING ropes). You'll also notice that the combat has received a raging improvement, offering far more combos than Sands of Time had left you with. And your save points are now wall fountains instead of unoccupied, premonition-yielding auras. And eventually - excuse the spoiler - you will become the Sand Wraith! Which brings me to the next thing I would do well to mention. This game is highly notorious for two progress-destroying glitches, one glitch - upon loading certain save files - turns you into the Sand Wraith when the game doesn't call for it yet. The other flat-out prevents you from approaching the final showdown after the Prince shoves [I won't spoil his one] into a time portal, by preventing said time portal from also taking in the Prince himself. So, in order to combat these glitches, use more than one save file for yourself (I alternate between two), and in the event that the Sand Wraith glitch takes place, simply load your less recent save and hope it's still okay. And to be somewhat safe from the Time Portal glitch, just don't save right after you shove [find out for yourself] into the portal, and if the glitch DOESN'T get you, THEN you can save. There will also be backtracking, as the plot requires you to visit certain areas more than once. Unless you easily confuse to the point of near-insanity, that one shouldn't be a big deal for you. If you liked Sands of Time, then Warrior Within is worth checking out.

PoP Warrior Within is the challenging sequel to PoP Sands of Time. The Prince must embark on yet another epic quest to alter history and prevent the creation of the sands of time. The game has a much darker feel than PoP Sands of Time, and the graphics are not quite as clean, but this is made up for by innovative new additions to the combat system. There are many new moves, and a new ability to pick up secondary weapons which have their own unique properties. The storyline is good, although not necessarily as enthralling as in PoP Sands of Time, and every aspect of the game is more challenging than PoP Sands of Time ever was. The controls feel smooth and natural on the GameCube controller, and for the most part the camera angles are well placed. The game is rated for mature players due to ... All in all it is a must have for anyone who played PoP Sands of Time. 4/5 stars.

A great sequel!!
This game doesn't disappoint. As the sequel to an already great game, it had to be better and... it is. With the extraordinary voice talents that they had for this one, it becomes very original and worth playing over and over again. For a series that was very easy to find a couple of years ago, Prince of Persia has almost become scarse, no question because of the fun games they are. I also bought the other two because, of course, they too are great games. Undoubtedly great buys the lot for anyone who enjoys action adventure games with a beat'em up mixed with some stealth action, both styles which are very enjoyable.This game doesn't disappoint. As the sequel to an already great game, it had to be better and... it is. A Really Great Game
I have KNOW Idea what that other person was writting about, but the game is supposed to have lot's of blood and gore. It's a really great game. I have played Sand's of Time and the warrior within. I think the best thing about this game is that you have more moves unlike The Sand's Of time. The sand's of time is more like for people under 17, but if you want a more adult like game with good graphics and Killer Moves.
