Bally/Midway's classic top-down car combat game gets a 3D face-lift with SpyHunter for next-generation consoles. Players once again drive through deadly streets behind the wheel of a gadget-equipped super car known as the G-6155 Interceptor. Familiar elements include a Weapons Van that outfits the car with the latest in high-tech weaponry, the return of enemy vehicles "The Enforcer" and "Mad Bomber," and Henry Mancini's classic Peter Gunn theme, re-recorded by rock group Saliva. Players will also be able to use machine guns and missiles on offense as well as oil slicks and smoke screens on defense to elude enemies in pursuit. New weapons include a rail gun, flamethrowers, which leave behind two streaks of fire, and an EMP gun, which instantly shuts down electrical equipment such as bombs. Another new feature is the game's more structured design, consisting of a series of missions with multiple objectives instead of the unending play found in the 1983 original. Missions are divided into two objectives: Primary and Secondary. Completing the primary objectives allows players to advance to the next mission, while secondary objectives help unlock additional missions. Goals typically involve destroying a certain number of targets and reaching a destination within a specific amount of time. To help complete certain missions, the G-6155 can transform into a motorcycle, watercraft, or speedboat with a press of a button. Three multiplayer modes allow two players to compete against each other on a split-screen: Head to Head, Globe Trotter, and Chicken Hunter. All involve racing from point A to point B as quickly as possible, but the last two modes challenge players to collect items called SATCOMs or run down chickens to earn more points than their opponent. Also included is Saliva's "The SpyHunter Theme" music video.

Not Impressed With This Game At All, Poor Development / Graphics
I personally am not impressed with the Spy Hunter:Nowhere To Run Video game at all. I have it on PS2 Format. It does not hold up to the thrill and excitement I got from the first Spy Hunter at all. The developers of the game really fell short on this game in my opinion. The first and formost I hate about the game is the acceleration of the car, it's either nothing 0 mph or full throttle, very hard to control. Also the car is always like you are driving on ice, very poor traction (car needs new tires or somthing). And all of the in game mini movie clips, way to many. Personally, I do not want to see that so much during game play (interupts my concentration). All of the really cool jumps and kills and destroying things, you have nothing to do with, it's all mini clips from different camera ... I can go on and on about the disappointment I have with this game. I have the Spy Hunter collection, Spy Hunter, Spy Hunter II, Spy Hunter: Nowhere To Run. If you are looking for this kind of game, get the first release (Spy Hunter) it is more realistic than the others. I will not get into Spy Hunter II since this review is about Spy Hunter: Nowhere To Run, But I'll tell you this much, It Blows as well, in comparison to SPY HUNTER.

Spy car mission based
A pretty good game for the price that I paid for it. Which wasn't a whole lot at all. Graphics are pretty good gameplay is easy to get used to. Well worth the price.

Highly Recommend Playstation Game
I decided to buy this game because I love car racing games; however, at the time I didn't know anything or ever hear of this game. I am Glad I bought this game, but I need to pass a part of the mission to move on to the next level. It's a highly skilled game if you love challenges- on the road, in the water, changing from a car, to humber crafts and even a motor cycle. So if you see this game it's a MUST HAVE!!!!!AAAA++++++++++ GAME.......I decided to buy this game because I love car racing games; however, at the time I didn't know anything or ever hear of this game. Carson's Spy Hunter Review
I recently purchased an item on ebay and oh boy! Am I happy. This particular game is new and improved! It offers a wide range of SpyHunter Games that I was not aware would be on this particular disc. Bonus #1. I decided to buy this game because it was MY favorite chilhood game, and the price was right. Bonus #2. Bonus #3 is that there really is nothing that I particularly dislike about it. Then again, I am not an experienced gamer. Still, I believe this version will suit one well. And would make an excellent gift for any occasion. Hope this review helps.
