85 gmc c1500 lowering kit
Im going to be as honest as possible. To start: the thickness of the metal of the flip kit and c notch are really thick. I did modify the flip kit part that goes between the leaf and axle by making a piece that fit around the axle tube to keep the axle in place.(see template drawing in the photos). I had my high school welding shop cnc me plates that i welded to the flip kit bracket. The c notch is really well constructed and fits very nicely. The hardware that was sent will work but i wanted a bolt that completely filled the hole in the c notch plate so i went to ace and bought new bolts. No big deal. Just me being pickey. The u bolts are a bit too wide for my axle and were just a bit short so i bought new u bolts. The shocks look decent and come with an insert for the rubber bushing ... I didnt see any instuction in the kit, but was able to find a set on the sellers website Im still waiting on the spindles i guess they are backorder at the moment. This is the only thing keeping me from moving on. Since i havent recieved the spindles i cant provide a review on them yet. The shock extenders sent will work but the shock isnt long enough the mount it to the new extender so im not using them. If its an issue ill address it later. The coil spring look pretty good but i havent been able to install them yet because of the spindles All in all im kinda neutral on the kit. The major parts of the kit do what they need to do. Im sure the spindles will fit just fine and wont be an issue.

They make it right
I ordered the 4/6 lowering kit from chassis tech....when my package arrived i was missing my drop spindles...i took pics reached out to these guys and they said they are out fed ex....they make it right and will....just reach out to them and you will be amazed at the understanding and will to solve any issues....outstanding handling team

Dont waste your time. .
Rear flip kit is a joke. Shocks are too short, shock extensions are way oversized. 1/4" gap on both sides of rearend shackle.. then u bolts are flimsy. The bottom plate interferes with the shock hanger... Sure hope the front spindles and springs are a lot better
