sing-a-longs and lullabies for the film..Jack Johnson
I bought this CD to use in my first grade classroom as they are working independently. I love this CD because it has catchy tunes without distracting the class; the vocals are smooth and mellow and the music is enjoyable with acoustic guitar, drums etc. It's not too cutesy like so many children's CDs. It's a great CD to pop in and let it play without the worry of a song that will disrupt the classroom atmosphere. Even the lyrics such as "reduce, reuse, recycle" and "we can change the world one hand at a time" are appropriate for today's children. Just keeps getting better
Jack Johnson is great not because he comes up with catchy tunes that you can sing along to and listen again and again but he has a corp of friends that he enlists whenever he makes an album. Many of the songs are from JJ but some of the best tunes are from people that he has met or played with. He gets such a great variety of music because of this. Its not just a surfer living out his dreams but a mix of souls, something that everyone can relate to in their diverse group of friends who all have their talent. Even though the title says kids movie, the cd is one of Johnsons best cd's. He delivers a great message, the music is top notch and its some of the songs are extremely catchy. Great For the Whole Family
This CD is wonderful for the whole family. My kids love to listen to this CD in the car. It has very relaxing and soothing lullabies but has fun upbeat songs as well. Jack Johnson has a very distinct voice and it is perfect for this type of music. Myself and my husband love to listen to it for it's "take you back to being a kid" quality. It is like nothing I have ever heard before and I would highly recommend it to any one- adults, children, or anyone of the sort!!!This CD is wonderful for the whole family. My kids love to listen to this CD in the car. It has very relaxing and soothing lullabies but has fun upbeat songs as well. SING -A-LONGS AND LULLABIES..JOHNSON, JACK
My son and I both like to listen to the curious george song on the way to his daycare. We really enjoyed the movie and the songs are so positive and somehow very life related. It's amazing to me now that I have a child how much more I pay attention to lifes little lessons and how things can or should be. I think many of his songs help me more than my son(ha)to get through the tough things in life and make me come down to what is real. I don't have anything bad to say about this music it's just very simple and fun. Thanks, Curious George fanMy son and I both like to listen to the curious george song on the way to his daycare. Terrific. My twin grandaughters (and daughter) loves CD
Purchased CD for relatives for christmas because they had literally worn out thier old one. Have no reason to believe this product will be less pleasing to them then the last one. They will be very happy to receive this gift. They are away now so the suprise persists. UPDATE: Received CD and the children and my daughter were very suprised to received a new one. They all just love this CD for riding in the car. The children are 3 3/4 yr. old twins and love to sing along with my daughter.
