Product Information

The collectible fantasy card game from Wizards of the Coast, Inc. makes its Xbox debut with support for online play. As in the card game, players select a duelist and two of five deck colors in an effort to defeat their rival by reducing his or her life to zero. The game offers a single-player Quest Mode divided into six chapters, each offering up to 15 individual quests. Quests consist of duels between rival opponents, mini-bosses, and bosses that hold under their power a specific creature or spell. By defeating powerful enemies, players can acquire magic artifacts to help in battle, along with new spells and monsters to summon. Xbox Live support includes a worldwide ranking and record keeping function, downloadable content such as clothing and accessories for onscreen duelists, special tournaments, forums, voice chat, an active friends list, and more.

Disk is in excellent shape and plays flawlessly. Shipping was very fast. The case only snaps shut on one side instead of both as one of the closing tabs is broken off which is something that should've been noted in the description. Aside from that minor issue, I'm happy with the purchase.

    Good used game! Only game of its kind!

    I decided to buy this game because I can't let go of the regular XBox yet. I was always behind in the times when it came to video games and I probably don't see myself getting a Wii or 360 for myself until another couple of years pass. So until then I decided to get a bunch of old XBox games. The Magic: The Gathering game was one that I had a few years ago but I returned it to the video game store due to its constant freezing. I used to play the Magic card game during high school and wondered how different it would be to play it on a video game console. Plus it's a little bit cheaper this time around.     Meh, I've Seen Better Mages

    Magic: The Gathering has a game?!?! I thought, why not. I play the card game from time to time and rather enjoy it. So, why not? However, when you open the case and look towards the back of the instruction booklet, you see that you have a very VERY limited arsenal of cards to use, and it isn't even in card form. Yu-Gi-Oh already does better than them in this aspect!!! Turning on the game, you are introduced to the spells one by one. It's a good thing, but when would you have enough to actually do something??? And battle is real time, ok, so maybe a reddeming quality, WRONG! turn based seems better. Overall, a very average game with very minimal effort.

    outstanding game! money well spent! must have product

    I bought this product due to having it earlier in my life it is an excellent game in my opinion , magic the gathering B.G has descendent special effects uses strategy also you don't need to like the card game to like this but if you do like the card game you should very much like this.dislikes about this game they didn't make a sequel =[ that is all my dislikes. i like this game a lot you can say i love this game.this game is unique very rarely find another like this cant compare it to pretty much any game.

    Great Multiplayer Game

    This game is a great unique multiplayer game, as well as single player. In the game you have to develop a strategy to wisely use your mana power, which slowly comes back, to cast spells and make creatures to defeat your opponent. One hint I have is that you should not just use your mana power right away, as the more you have the faster you regain mana.
