Good conclusion to a good series
I was late getting into Mobile Suit Gundam. When Gundam Wing debuted on the Cartoon Network (with perhaps the best television show trailer ever!) the tagline was "From the Gundam Universe." So I set out to find out about this "Gundam Universe" and the original version of Mobile Suit Gundam. The show was a good one especially for the time period it was created in. It dealt with war and loss and issues that just don't show up in American cartoons. This movie brings the original series to a fitting conclusion. It is also better if you have seen the series to have a better understanding of what is happening in the movie. The movie just starts, there are no real character introductions and no plot developing. The filmmakers believe that if you're watching this movie then you already ... I would recommend this to newcomers on the condition that they try to get a hold of the original Gundam movies (which summarize the series) before watching this. It's still a good watch if you don't have a background in the material, but it's so much better with the requisite knowledge.

"MSG: Char's Counterattack", of the Gundam franchise, is a good synopsis of the eternal conflict central to the series, the struggle for human evolution beyond the boundaries of earth, and the abilty of people to reconcile differing ideologies in the process. At under two hours, this particular movie doesn't require lenghty, weekly episodes to enjoy it, yet it features key characters, mecha, and plotlines that that encapsulate major aspects of the exciting Gundam story. "Char's Counterattack" can introduce anyone to the series and bring them up to speed on the principals of Mobile Suit Gundam as a whole. The movie came in good condition.Just like always, gundam can show how grim its story can be.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counter Attack
This was an amazing movie. I honestly recommend for any Japanese anime fan, particularly for those who like Gundam. It was packed with action and story and left me with a sense of awe and intrigue. Definitely worth checking out for anyone and most definitely worth buying for die hard fans of Gundam.

Definite must see (atleast once)
If you're a fan of Gundam or the mecha genre in general, you'll like this. It's the end of the Amuro/Char era of Gundam and an interesting end it is. It has my recommendation.
