Product Information

The first golf game for PlayStation Vita continues Sony's lighthearted sports series that began in 1998. Once again players will choose one of several male or female characters and compete on an assortment of courses while earning experience points to customize their golfer's attributes. The swing system still follows a timing-based control scheme, with players influencing both power and accuracy as a line automatically travels up and down an arc-shaped meter.<br><br>New features are designed to take advantage of the system's distinctive hardware. Players can freely look around the course simply by moving the Vita in any direction, while golfers can be repositioned by "pinching" and dragging them with the touch-screen interface. In addition to computer-controlled opponents, players can challenge others in a choice of online options. A turn-based mode involves sending your scores to friends and vice versa, similar to play-by-email games on a computer. A daily tournament option lets you compete offline and then upload your results online, while real-time tournaments support up to 30 players for simultaneous action.

Disk is in excellent shape and plays flawlessly. Shipping was very fast. The case only snaps shut on one side instead of both as one of the closing tabs is broken off which is something that should've been noted in the description. Aside from that minor issue, I'm happy with the purchase.

    Solid Game, Great graphics, Fun stuff!

    I have only played the game for about two hours now, but I can say it's a great game. The mechanics are easy to get used to. You'll be swinging perfect in a half an hour. There is just something satisfying about watching the ball fly through the air and getting a birde. As far as golf games go, 10/10.

    It's HOTSHOTS GOLF ON THE GO!!

    Let me start off by saying that this is one of those games that tests one patience level. If your like me who can put up with the high level of BS that this game will throw at you from time to time, then you should be fine. BUT if your not me and don't have a high patience level then you might want to stay away from this game bcos you most likely will end up breaking your PS Vita or something else near you. There Training mode where you can practice and Stroke mode where you can play freely at one maps 9 in, 9 out, and 18 holes and then Online mode where you can compete among hunderds of players in a map for bragging rights on the map leaderboards. But Challenge mode is where the focus point of this game is. This mode is very easy at the beginning, then it is a little hard half way ...

    A good golf simulator for Playstation platforms.

    Graphics are superb for it being a PSVita game. The gameplay is deep and has a tons of options, scenarios and even some skins. While I havent played around with it for a long time, it sure looks compelling enough and interesting for anyone who is into simulators.

    Sweet Sweet Golf at its Finest

    You can pick up this steal of a deal pretty cheap these days. As a single play I would give it a recommendation with fun courses and challenging game play this proved to be a faithful port. As a multiplayer there are few titles I can recommend over this on the vita being Kill Zone, Little Big Planet and Playstation All Stars Battle Royal.

    Awesome game, fun, addicting

    Great VITA GAME! It's a lot of fun, very high replayable value because it's golf. They mirror levels and add wind in order to make it more difficult. Its addicting, I play at least an hour a day
