    Lifecam NX 6000 ...Overall thumbs upward ...

    What can I say...This product is HOT!!! ( It generates a great deal of heat while in use.) Manufacture quality is high, great looks , easy to use ( hardware wise )...Now to the software : not so great , as with a good deal of Microsoft software written for the engineer and not the ease of the end user...but it gets the job done. Good sound performance and good picture quality ( inclusive of low light operations and true picture color ). VERY short cord ( do not try to use with a tower unless you have a USB extender cord ). Have not had long term but the hide away lens might be problems down the line ( this feature is no longer available in Microsoft 2012 web cam line up ). The camera has an instant connect using Windows Live ( I use other services for my video chat ).+++ Button ...

    Small Innovation

    I always appreciated photos and videos, but, sometimes, i couldn't a good quality of images. Thus, i have tried to innovate my webcam here for another with better resolution and performance of images. I decided then, acquire a webcam of the Microsoft with 2.0 Megapixel and test the images through it. My 1º disappointment was that the webcam came with a usb cable very short and it was only possible to install in my laptop. The 2º negative point is that the installation cd is not compatible with the new version of Windows 7. I had to resort to the web site of Microsoft to find the drivers more recent and was arduous install this webcam correctly. However, i needed install it on my computer and for this reason, came the 3º negative point, therefore, i had to buy a cable adapter of 1 m, that i ...

    No Driver need for windows 10

    So far the best web cam I ever had. Driver was installed automatically, and no need to install any software for windows10 Pro 64bit.

    Great product ,great price

    Good price and postage cost . Return offer if not working. Bought it to replace the photo detector in a spectrophotometer so that the diffraction grating could stay stationary once aligned . this allows the whole spectrum to be captured in one go Software needed an up data , but with microsoft this is not a problem .The genuine high resolution and brand name played a large part in my decision to buy one Would place this web cam a high end of the market not to be confused with other models claiming 2 meg resolution or more but only having about 360k pixels

    Compact and well thought out.

    Bought this cam for Skyping. If you're using Windows 7 do not use the install CD. Just plug it in and the video and microphone driver will be installed. LifeCam 3.6 software will also be automatically downloaded and installed. Good picture and sound, no major faults, clamps onto Thinkpad screen edges with ease. An overall very good design for laptop use.
