    Basic Electronic Info for Troubleshooting and Repair

    This is a great book on understanding basic electronics with the intent on troubleshooting and repair. The information is presented for the beginner, the hobbyist, as well as the experienced. It walks readers through logical troubleshooting and provides tidbits that may take a person years of experience to learn. Need to figure out if you really need expensive electrical test equipment? The book provides basic explanations on use and where its needed. The book has most modern electronics covered, but obviously not the latest and greatest. A great reference book if you plan on fixing vintage electronics that may have value.

    This is a GREAT book and should be in every techs library.

    This is a GREAT book. It covers a wide range of topics and starts with very basic info and progresses nicely to more complex issues. There are a lot of real world examples and tips from the authors many years doing hands on repairs. I checked it out from my local library a few times and read it cover to cover. And referred to it for some basic troubleshooting on several projects. For the price here it was cheaper than the gas to go to the library and back a few times, and it was not always available there.

    If you are interested in electronics or repair, this is a must have.

    This book is very well written, interesting and informative. I first borrowed it from the library, after reading it, I HAD to own it. Received the book after getting it for and excellent price on Ebay, and reread it. I have an automotive background and this really helped me understand how electroincs work as well as a primer for my planned electronics repairs.
