Here's One is the debut solo recording of Chicagoland Master Cantor and Worship Leader Elliot Wimbush. A diverse collection of ten love songs of praise and worship, the recording has been hailed as 'powerful and prayerful, rejoicing and reverent. Here's One is a new step in praise and worship for Wimbush, 'I've seen the effect of worship on the heart; the joy it brings,' Wimbush said. Today, when we face things like road rage, office rage, air rage, strife between peoples, when we struggle with the brokenness within ourselves..these songs help to break the cycle of anxiety that we might feel the touch of GOd's love for us. They help us greet the dawn with peace and bring the joy to which we are called.' In 1998, after ten years serving throughout the Archdiocese of Chicago as a pastoral musician, Wimbush launched vox humana ministries (Latin for 'the human voice')an independent enterprise centering on his music ministry and adding teaching and speaking components. Since that time he has worked with thousands of people across the country. Here's One is a resounding answer of 'yes' to the outpouring of requests for more of his music and the much asked question, 'Is there a recording?' Here's One surpasses it's goal of engaging the listener and inciting them to pray along, sing and dance.
