Save room, not fun
I like to play videogames with old style joysticks. Also, I have trust in the Hori brand - I have my other consoles with either Hori or ASCII joysticks -, so that narrowed my search. I saw many complaints about the size of this joystick, however I don't see it as a bad thing. It's small as a NES Advantage. That makes it easy to store. Another good thing is that this joystick is compatible with both Playstation 3 and 4. My gripes about this item, however, are: - Joystick "throw": You have to move it far from the center, and I prefer quicker response. - Lack of turbo switch: This is the only Hori joystick I have without turbo. - Compatibility: The joystick is recognized only as the equivalent of the D-Pad, not the analog thumbs. in my opinion best balance of price and quality

(ie. madcatz TE edition sticks) not easily modded not by a long shot (but definitly possible with effort) has a square 4way gate.(opinion) turns out i cant stand 4 way gates. ive gotten better with them but its still a bit frustrating. ive seen online its possible to insert an 8 way sanwa gate but the gate itself needs minor modding. u can search online google or youtube for instructions over all im glad to have gotten this stick. i didnt spend much, it works just fine to play, and this will make a great 2nd player stick for me when i get a high quality stick in the future.

Great Fightstick!
I was a bit afraid this fightstick would be small for my use, since i have big hands. It fits perfectly fine! I can use all the buttons and the joystick just fine, everything works as it should and it is very responsive. Tried it out with Dragon Ball FighterZ and my experience was amazing! Highly recommend if you want to get into fighting games, it is a very responsive fightstick and it works like a charm, very durable, buttons are super responsive and great joystick handling. It's kind of small but it's good the stick in the inside where it moves has to round it to play better and do better moves but it's something easy to-do, i like very much, now I can enjoy my fighting games and other games also, I am an old school player, enjoy it and keep it up

Good enough for begginer
I bought this stick thinking I could take it with me on the road when I travel away from home on business. It does the job, but for my personal taste it is too small every time I tried to do a special move I had the tendency to lift up the controller on the left side. Maybe that is just my sloppy technique. This is by no means a pro controller. The buttons are super cheap, the stick can't be modded, or maybe it can but it's not an easy job to do. It is however the perfect size to travel and some one with a better playing style than me could probably use it better.
