Dyson Animal is a Cleaning Animal!
I love my Dyson. It is light but strong! It is easy to operate. I love the self-winding cord and the attachments on the handle.

Not what expected
This canister vacuum was underwhelming. It feels very flimsy and did not roll well on the floor (both hardwood and low carpet). It is also a mess when trying to empty. The clip holding it closed is small and flimsy and tons of stuff stays in the vacuum you have to pull out by hand. I did order the hardwood attachment as the normal head throws stuff everywhere and I'm kind of stuck with this thing due to the insane return cost. Overall, I would look elsewhere and can't recommend this to anyone. Final note - in every review I watched the canister was self righting if it fell over. To my disdain mine does not. Great vacuum!
This machine has a lot of suction. I had a hard time pushing it across our area rug because I am not used to that much pull. It works great going from the area rugs to the hard wood floors. The vacuum follows behind me very well & I like that it is light weight to go up & down the main stairs in my house.

As much as I love Dyson products, this canister does not have enough suction....
Simply put, the carpet brush is not wide enough and it doesn't have enough power to pick up dirt. Where a normal canister and power carpet brush requires one or two passes, the Dyson requires five or six.

Excellent design and superb quality of manufacture
This is an outstanding service Dyson offers with their refurbished machines. A functionally new vacuum cleaner that is affordable and performs as newly manufactured. Intuitive and ergonomic design, both use and clean up is effective and easy. Thanks to Dyson for offering this line of rebuilt machines.
