    This story takes place in 1963 Hong Kong. An American business man with his assistant comes to Hong Kong to expand his business. We were first introduced to The Noble House and its founder, Dirk Struan, in Clavell's previous book Tai-Pan.     The book kept my interest throughout and I was well pleased with content.

    Great book. Good reading and continued interest throughout the book. I would certainly recommend to all readers who have an interest in James Clavell's series of books.
