Paratrooper Errol Flynn is ready to fight as he sets out with a platoon to attack and destroy a Japanese radar outpost in the Burmese jungle. The Americans reach their target, destroy the installation and prepare to return to base. However, the Japanese have recovered and set a trap for the aircraft that are to pick up the Americans. Flynn (Charge of the Light Brigade, Dive Bomber, The Sea Hawk, etc) and his fellow troopers then receive orders to go to a hill hundreds of miles away and await orders there. The struggle to get to the hill is treacherous with many incidents and encounters with the enemy. The jungle scenes in this movie are very realistic and the war action is good. You might look for a small part played by an up and coming actor at the time, James Brown (The Blues ... A good movie that war movie lovers will enjoy as well as most classic movie collectors will want. Will give most people a good nights entertainment-especially if you enjoyed watching any Errol Flynn movies.

An unusual, fairly realistic and entertaining movie..... Excellent cast
They don’t make movies like this anymore. (This movie was made during war time, )....... It’s not all just glamour and glory, there is a Realism not found in most war movies of the time or even of today......... Movie was made when things were not going all that well for the United States and her allies....... it has been rated one of the best war movies of all times for good reason. Watch, and enjoy!!. Very Nice DVD Release
DVD is well worth finding and adding to the collection. The quality is excellent with corresponding top notch sound. Image is sharp and crisp making for an enjoyable viewing. A release worthy of a very entertaining Errol Flynn film.

This dvd is entertaining and has good story lines. Of special interest is the clip of AAF gliders landing and taking off.
