Retired NBA superstar Michael Jordan headlines this installment of Take Two's top-selling basketball series, which features an exclusive "Jordan Challenge" mode. Players will slide into the pricey sneakers of His Airness as they attempt to duplicate Jordan's efforts in ten legendary games. Featured events include 1990's 69-point outburst against the Cavaliers, Game 6 of the 1997 finals, and Jordan's final game with the Chicago Bulls. Once all ten scenarios are completed, Jordan will then become a playable athlete in the main game -- as a rookie -- in a new mode called "Creating a Legend." <br><br>You'll "be like Mike" as he begins a new career in the current NBA, gradually aging over the course of multiple seasons until his eventual retirement. In addition to prominently featuring Michael Jordan, NBA 2K11 also features a number of presentation and gameplay tweaks. The animation is designed to be more dynamic in this installment, allowing you to interrupt motions at will for more fluid control. New dribbling and passing schemes are present, and team management options can be changed on the fly. Returning to the game are the same modes found in NBA 2K10, including online support for dynasty and league play.

    A game worth getting the yearly update to. Gameplay diff than years past

    I've only played it a couple of times so far. As I read in others' reviews, the gameplay feels very different than past years. It is less of an "arcade" style basketball game, because you can't make careless passes and expect to get away with it. Offensively, you can't just muscle your way into a basket. It requires more strategy to score. The good thing is that it is NOT made by EA, therefore the online play is completely free and doesn't require an online pass. This means if you buy it used, you won't be missing out. Online servers were still up as of March 2012. The second time I played this game, I played against an opponent online. I'm by no means great, but I have had NBA 2K8, 2K9, 2K10, and 2K11, so I know how the game works. The opponent held me to 0 points in the 3rd quarter, ...

    NBA2K11

    This is a very good sports video game. It has very quality graphics and player designs are very good. The best part about this game by far is the inclusion of Michael Jordan and all of the teams he had career moments against. Also, 10 of his most famous moments are recreated and playable. Moments include the "Sick Game" against the Utah Jazz, when Jordan was sick with the flu and still lead the Bulls to a major win. Also, the "Shoulder Shrug" game is recreated. In these games, the player plays against the actual teams Jordan played against. Players like John Stockton, Karl Malone, Clyde Drexler, and James Worthy are included and help make the games very fun and realistic. This game is recommended for any classic basketball fan and for people who love a good sports game.

    For the price you can get it at now, it is definitely worth buying!

    Definitely one of the greatest NBA 2k series yet. When I first started playing this game I knew right away that i would be playing it for a quite some time. With the various new features added such as the Jordan challenges, the new features in the create a player mode, and so much more. I would HIGHLY recommend that this game becomes a part of your video game collection. Regardless of NBA 2K12 being out, I still go back to this game, just to even play the NBA blacktop games, slam dunk contest, and the legend mode.

    NBA 2K11 (Sony Playstation 3, 2010).

    Best game ever.... Full recomended!!!! This is a awesome game. It has great graphics and it is easy to use. You can use the basic controls if you are just starting and as you get better you can use the advanced controls for cool moves. Also, this game as many different game modes like season, my player, quick game, and you can also play as Michael Jordan in some of his famous games. I would definitely recommend this game.
