Saving the galaxy is a tough job, and nobody knows this better than the cat-like space mechanic Ratchet and his robot friend Clank. The 2005 Sony PlayStation 2 game Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal, the third installment in the gadget-happy PS2 platformer series from veteran designers at Insomniac Studios. This game offers split-screen play that supports up to four players on the same console and up to eight for online play. Up Your Arsenal features six maps designed for multiplayer competition. Players work with teammates to beat rivals in capture-the-flag style contests, using the limited assortment of the game's weaponry that can be found in each area. Turbo Sliders and the Hovership carry two players at once throughout this galactic battle game, whether gamers are feeling super competitive or want to explore the story-driven adventure mode commanded by the duo Ratchet and Clank.

One of my all time favorite PS2 games
Compelling storyline, memorable characters, thrilling gameplay, amazing maps, overall great graphics for a 18 year old PS2 game. Having a lot of fun replaying and reliving the memories of one of my all time favorite childhood PS2 games.

Masterpiece ahead of it's time
One of the best ratchet and clank games, boundary pushing graphics, great open ended levels with lots of secrets. tons of skins, armors and guns to collect and the dialogue is fantastically written and delivered. Plus you can play the whole thing as an fps if you want to. Probably one of the best ps2 games.

One of my favorites
This is a great game that has a campaign that is super long, entertaining, and challenging. I loved this game when I was a kid, and now I'm about to defeat Dr. Nefarious!!

It’s okay
I love this game and I lost the one I had before and was ecstatic to find one here for a reasonable price. Everything worked great until I got 1/3 of the way through the game and it froze and no matter how many times I tried to clean the disk or restart my PlayStation; it wouldn’t work. I’ve tried everything in the book to see if I could get it to play and it just wouldn’t. Based on reviews I’m sure this was just a fluke but I wish the disk hadn’t been damaged. I love this game and I lost the one I had before and was ecstatic to find one here for a reasonable price. Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal is a game that comes from the existing and very successful Ratchet and Clank series. This game lives up to its predecessors and delivers solid game-play and replay-ability. Basics: You look like some kind of lovechild between a fox and a tiger with a robot strapped to your back that aids in jumping and getting around places faster. The game-play is simple point-and-shoot from third-person view. The animations are very “cartoonish” and the action is good. There is much comic relief in this game to keep all ages interested (such as the little robot on your back gets ALL the credit for your heroic feats). There are a few (and I mean a few) sexual references but a child under 12 probably wouldn’t even catch on at all. Pros: Great intense game-play Easy to ...
