Favorite all time!
I am 63 and I’ve been through a lot of cookbooks. This is the best all-around cookbook I’ve ever used because it includes basics all the way up to more involved recipes. Mine worn out - I’m on my third one - and was lucky to find this one at a great value.

Better than most of the newer editions.
The cookbook was in excellent condition. This is my favorite edition (11th). I use mine all the time and I'm now purchasing the same edition for my 2 adult sons so they can have mom's favorite cookbook to make their favorite recipes.

The best Cookbook ever - review
I have had this book in my kitchen for as long as I have been cooking 30+ years and refer to it often. I love that you can take pages out from the binder and take them with you, like to the store. When a friend recently moved out of her parent's home into her own apartment, she told me that she goes out to eat a lot due to her lack of basic cooking knowledge and skills. I thought this book would make a perfect housewarming gift. It shows all the basics, how to stock your kitchen, how to boil an egg, etc. I noticed that in this particular one it shows how to choose ripe fruits and vegetables. How great is that?! Better Homes & Gardens New Cookbook
I remember this cookbook being in my Mom’s repertoire of cooking resources back in the 60’s. Basic good wholesome recipes with easy how to steps in preparing meals. It’s a must for any starting out homemaker. Quick to find tabs separate out the categories and the ringed notebook design allow for easy to remove pages to have recipe access on a crowded counter.

This Better Homes and Gardens cookbook is just enough up to date that the recipes are great and still easy enough for our grandson to us in hin new home.
