Very good puchase for me!
As someone who used to be fairly decent with a guitar and gave it up for about 20 years, this is a great way for me to get back into playing. I mostly bought it to learn the unplugged version of Layla and the instruction and lesson is very good. I've been using WinDVD to play it which allows me to slow down the playback speed to pick up some of the riffs when I'm trying to learn exactly how the solos are played. The photography is very good. I would've liked to hear him play the entire song all the way through so that I could practice along with him. So far, the only version where he plays the entire song is where he leaves out the solo portions so that you can play them. The beginning portion where he plays the song, he stops short of the main solo. All in all, I'm very satisfied ... All in all, I'm very satisfied and I would definately buy it again; it has helped me greatly in removing a lot of the frustrations in trying to re-learn guitar techniques that I was once pretty good at in my younger years. One of these days I should be able to get all the way through Layla and I look forward to attempting some of the other great songs on the DVD. If you are a more advanced player, the lessons should be perfect for picking up all of the songs, note for note, with ease. The section on tips and techniques of Clapton's is helpful for me too.

great dvd, easy to follow. I would reccomend to all skill levels. You do have to pause a lot to keep up. well worth the money...................................................................................

Excellent. Great instruction. The teacher is very talented, and goes slow through the tough stuff. Good camera work too.

Eric Clapton - Acoustic Classics (DVD, 2005)
New as stated. I viewed this DVD at the library first. Not Eric playing and I knew that. Very good teaching media. I play like Eric Clapton.
