Product Information

Offering a rare chance to see a full-length concert by the Police, this release transports viewers back to 1984, with a show from their final tour. Shot in Atlanta in November 1983, Sting and his faithful cohorts Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers perform a selection of hits from throughout their career, including songs such as "Message in a Bottle," "Every Breath You Take," and "So Lonely." The show was expertly directed by Godley & Crčme, a duo who carved out an impressive reputation as music video directors and musicians after leaving their band, 10CC, at the tail end of the '70s. To complete the package, the band are interviewed in Melbourne on another date on the Synchronicity tour, making this a comprehensive document of their final days.

    Great music, distracting camera directing.

    I love The Police; they're at their peak, I think, here. You can't actually notice that they were not getting along at the time. But they put on a great show; lots of instruments variations, the back-up vocals were amazing! Those three girls were cute, specially the blonde one! Although the music is great, the camera work is funny and distracting, some crazy effects, too many shots of the crowd. I don't mind but maybe you who's reading this... Some people can really recognize themselves here how they looked back in '84! But overall, the DVD is great. It's has extra songs from a different concert, interviews on location with the band at that time, multi-angle features for some songs.

    Excellent concert coverage for Police fans.

    This is an excellent record of the Synchronity concert. This is the Police at their best.

    Best Police

    Well they could have picked a better place to shoot the video for this concert,the fans were wild and busting out there moves as the camaras scand the audience,they were a great group of concert goers back then! Sting and andy put on one hell of a stage show,watch them bust out there moves as well! Al aroung its really a great DVD for any Police fan as these sing and play out there best and it would be there last time to perform as a band for some time to come as we knew it!
