    The Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector is an accessory for use with the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS game systems. This USB dongle creates an exclusive communication line between your DS or Wii and Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Up to five Wii consoles or DS systems can connect to one device. There are a few small problems with it, however. Since the device is just a dongle, it cannot power itself, meaning your computer must be on in order for your Wii or DS to access it. Another thing is that this device creates an exclusive connection point for Wii consoles and DS systems, meaning no other devices can connect to it. But that itself can be a good thing, because if another DS or Wii user tries to leech off you, you can tell your Connector to accept or ignore any other devices, except yours. ...

    Nintendo will help you download the new software free.

    My son wanted this item to play DS games with other kids online. He got on and traded Pokemon with kids around the world. He loves it. This works with the original DS and DS Lite. This will not work with some internet providers or Windows Vista. I would suggest calling Nintendo before buying one. I was on the phone with Nintendo for an hour to get this thing to work with my computer. You do not need the Instalation CD that came with the Wi-Fi USB Connector. You can go on Nintendo's Web Site and download the current software. The people at Nintendo are very friendly and very helpful. This will not work with dial up. You need DSL

    A very good option to Nintendo WiFi

    I bought this item for my kids because we do not live in a wireless or highspeed internet environment. I was hoping by using this with my compatible ISP dial-up connection it would work, and it did. It may take some time to set up depending on your computer and firewall settings, but it will work. It may not be as effeciant as a router, but it works very well if you do not have a router, or you don't want to spend the $70+ on one. Getting connected was easy although there were some disconnecting isues at first, which were resolved and hopefully will not happen too frequently. So this product deserves a job well done, although there can be many obstacles in setting up wifi with the wii and ds, but my kids are happy with finally being able to connect online.

    WIFI USB Connector

    I love this product, it makes playing with friends from far away very easy on my Nintendo DS. All I had to do was plug it in to my computer, install the software that came with it, and add the settings to my DS, and I was ready to go. It was so simple to use the WIFI USB Connector and it made my gaming life much more simple. This a great product of the serious gamer, or anyone who wants to play or compete with friends who are just up the street or around the world.

    Wow NDS/WII WIFI CONNECTIO!!! *thumbs up*

    OMG why didnt anyone tell me about this xD? well this is a simple installation and an easy and quick connection. my old wifi connection that i had...it lagged so much when i played like super smash bros. or something. But now it feels great not having to wait ten minutes for a match to end online. well i think you eBay buyers should get this item cause it will help you a lot if you cant get a router or soumething
