    A Shepherd's Watch by David Kennard

    David Kennard takes the reader through the seasons of a shepherd's year. Beautiful pictures of sheep, dogs, and the landscape around his farm accompany descriptions of lambing, training of a young sheep dog, shearing, sheep dog trials, dealing with diseases, etc. Everyone who has had anything to do with sheep or sheep dogs will find their own experiences in this well written book. And the book makes everyone who has never dealt with these critters want to change that. I highly recommend it.
