    Eye Opening and Compelling on things I wasn’t wishing to see.

    Eye opening and very compelling. Not because Marvin Rosenthal is a great writer. I appreciate that he directs each person reading the Word of God to focus on the context, and to allow scripture to interpret scripture. If you allow yourself to have an open mind and you are able to forget about movies you’ve seen, beloved ministers positions and opinions. Allowing yourself to be open to The Spirit as you read the words the Bible pages in front of you. You will have a number of wow moments, saying, how could I not have see that? I would personally recommend keeping a list of conjunctions nearby. As you read and see, conjunctions, highlight them, whether in the Book of Revelation, Daniel, Matthew 24, 1st and 2nd Thessalonians. Give it a shot, I don’t think you will be disappointed.     non-confrontational but thought-provoking

    This is a well-reasoned, rational approach which does not hold to the main-stream teaching on the timing of the rapture of the church. Although the author's opinion is not shared by many, his arguments are compelling. As one who came to similar-although-not-exact conclusions many years ago and has held the minority view among my peers, I was delighted to see Mr. Rosenthal's detailed biblical exegesis which he presented without animus towards anyone. Although his convictions led to loss of position in a ministry which was close to his heart, he never wavered from those convictions. I am still trying to weigh my own thoughts against his in the single major difference in our opinion on just exactly when the church will be caught up.

    The Pre-wrath Rapture of the Church by Marvin Rosenthal

    Excellent review of alternate theory of the Rapture of the Church. The author, formerly an avowed pretribulationist, tells why he feels that it is more than likely that the Church will go through, on earth, some of the seven years tribulation period. The author asserts the idea that the Church will be raptured between the 6th and 7th seals; his logic makes a lot of sense to me. He has done his research. Trying to pin down a seven year period across the hallways of time may be an exercise in futility and the author does not attempt to set a specific date of the rapture. I finished this book with the thought that I must know what to look for and watch, be strong and "be ready."

    Thought provoking

    This book gets you away from the mindless acceptance of the teaching that Christians will be whisked away from this earth before things get "bad". Though I may not agree with all the conclusions of the book I do find his reasoning on the timing of the Rapture (at least as far as it NOT being before the beginning of the 70th Week of Daniel) to be well thought out and balanced. In these perilous end times we need to be preparing ourselves to stand for the glory of God, rather than glibly thinking that it makes no difference because we've "said the prayer" and so we will be spared suffering. Quite contrary - Jesus promised us tribulation. Peter says we should not be surprised by the "fiery trial". Paul encourages us to stand firm and keep believing ...

    Get your eyes and heart opened!!

    I was in the pretrib camp for most of my adult life. I must say it is the safe acceptable camp to be in these days. My spirit wouldn't allow me to be comfortable there so I found a friend who recommended Marvin Rosenthal's book. It is very readable and full of biblical basis for the prewrath end time events.1 Thes 5:9 I would suggest all Christians give this a read! Let's not be caught off guard. Time is winding down, confusion reigns in world governments. It's all part of the plan. I'm a student at heart. I study to show myself approved. If a preacher stands up with conviction and states the pretrib rapture....best do your homework! Your faith will be stronger in the end! God Bless and get to work.
