    Shipping delay, but finally recieved it. Awesome Author, my favorite of Jim Butcher's books

    I love Jim Butcher's Dresden Series, and this is the latest [so far]. I have listened to the audiobook read by James Marsters MANY times, and wanted a physical copy. When it came in I was so excited to own a copy. Great characters, superb word choice, awesome descriptive language, engaging storyline. Just an all-around good book. Thumbs up!

    A great entry in the Dresden Files series that is hard to put down!

    If you haven't read any of the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher, you really should. Even if you aren't really a sci-fi or fantasy reader, you should read them. The reason is that these work on a more "mundane" level. The characters develop over time, the plots hang together and make sense, and Mr. Butcher's writing style is really quite good. In these books he displays a conversational style with enough humor to keep them from becoming too heavy, and plenty of action. If you saw the TV show of the same name and weren't impressed, forget that and read the books instead. If you're already a Dresden Files reader, then you really don't need any encouragement from me to get this book - you're gonna want to read it in any case. However, I will say that it's a very good entry in the series, and you ...

    Riveting!!

    Jim Butcher's series "The Dresden Files" is exciting, riveting , can't put it down the book down kind of novels. I have stayed up reading until I couldn't keep my eyes open any more! I have always checked the books out of the library but because every few years I want to read them again I decided to buy the hardcover set so I always have them and lend them to my daughter.
