I really loved how realistic this game was. This is by far, the best Splinter Cell game out yet (before Double Agent comes out that is). I say it's the best in the series not because of the enlightened graphics or new weapons (sniper and shotgun attachments) although they are big factors but simply due to the fact that now you had a sound meter, which is, oh my god, a huge relief. The sound meter will tell you how loud you're walking and how loud the environment is. If there is thunder and lightening in the background, you can practically run around crazy and the terrorists still can't hear you well. I just love that. It helps the stealth game play in more ways than one. It's just a great addition. Sam can now carry a knife along with him (*cough* MGS3 copycatter *cough*) which can help ... The interrogation is a lot more fun in this game than the other two I think because Sam is more comical and the terrorists are just funny. There's this one time when I grabbed a guy with a knife to his neck and asked him for info and he replied, "Wow, I get to be killed by a ninja. Sooo cool." The gameplay is pretty much the same as the last two: stay in the shadows, use cool gadgets to bypass guards, find info or assassasinate, leave quietly. Lock picking is pretty much the same (except for in one level where you have to do telemetric lock picking) and now you can hack computers and retinal scanners and doors which makes life a lot easier because now you don't HAVE to interrogate guards or overhear their conversations. The replay value is pretty good since you have a mission rating and to get a 100% on each mission is quite a challange (esp. on the bathhouse level). 100% mission rating means no alarms triggered, no kills, no body found, and not a single time discovered. Yeah, a pretty big challanged but it's hella fun. Now onto the flaws. They didn't fix the A.I flaw even to this point. I feel like the only person who's mad at this but seriously. How does the other guard in another room know exactly where I am just for being discovered by a guard for a milisecond (milisecond because I quickly knocked him out silently)? How? And I hate after you're discovered even if it's not really discovered per se, staying in the shadow will now be obsolete. No matter what your light meter says, they still see you and they still hurt you. It's better playing expert mode where if you get discovered you just get killed and you start over for a much better mission rating. The load time is... agghhhh!!! Just to load my saved game, I have to get through about seven load screens, each taking about 5 seconds. The saving time is rather long as well. I'd rather play Splinter Cell 1 because the load time is so horrible. And what the hey, some lights can't be broken. It makes the game so much harder. I don't know if Xbox lets you but apparantely this game doesn't let you take out lights which you should be able to. So stealth becomes nearly impossible sometimes and you have to resort to distraction cameras (thank God for those). Lastly, the "interact" screen some times messes up and won't let you grab a guard when you desperately need to. I got discovered lots of times because of this flaw and I had to restart a mission because of this. It's not trial and error anymore. It's glitch and restart now. ugh. Other than these flaws though, the game is amazing!!

Slow for some great for others
Graphics are as good as you can expect for a PS2 game. This is my first Splinter Cell game that I have played but I haven't been disappointed yet. Good storyline and fairly accurate to the books if you have read them. If you really take your time and think there are endless possibilities for what you can do, where you can go, how you can take someone out and so on and so on. If you like fast paced action shooters this is not at all for you. This is by all means a thinker! But great!Graphics are as good as you can expect for a PS2 game. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
The game case came a little loose, but the game worked out great when I inserted the game on my ps2 console.

The game is of great value and the grapics are great
I would recommend this game to anyone that likes to play action games. All splinter cell games are great games, and you will want to play this game again.

Splinter Cell, is as the title says, is Stealth Action Re, Re, and, Re, defined. this is much better then the first game, and second Game. mostly because of the multiplayer option, and the Graphics are even better then before, as well as the sound, movies, and general game play. everyone that owns a game console must know about this game, so theres not much more to say then get it today!
