Great Processor Upgrade For a HP Pavilion a6500f...
At the time of this review (2/2/2021), the Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 is a pretty old processor from 2007. It was used to replace an Intel Pentium Dual Core E2220 on a HP/Foxconn MCP73M02H1 (NAPA) motherboard. The PC booted right up without any problem after the new processor was installed. I don't have actual performance data, but it feels more responsive, and handles streamed video better. A great inexpensive upgrade for an old PC. To the question "Is it easy to install?", I answered "NO", because processors are just not easy to install for anyone who hasn't done it before. Replaced the original Intel E2200 on older HP Pavilion, that is now serving as Home Media Centre. Significant increase in performance especially while multitasking. Doesn't overheat, no compatibility issues, upgraded from Windows 7 to 10, which it now runs fast and smooth. This CPU upgrade made the ageing computer fully functional for all basic needs, including watching streaming videos, and worthy to keep it for few more years.Replaced the original Intel E2200 on older HP Pavilion, that is now serving as Home Media Centre. great value for the money
well i had a intel celeron 3400 2.60 ghz fsb 800 mhz dual core, i switched to this one cause i thought it could give me better fps on games by activating fsb 1333 on the bios with this, but it didn't gave much, but in overall i'm happy with it cause my computer is way faster dealing with documents and opening programs and in apps like poser pro and Photoshop it did increased speed. i would highly recommend this if you want to increase performance on your computer and the best thing, is not expensive so come on try it.well i had a intel celeron 3400 2.60 ghz fsb 800 mhz dual core, i switched to this one cause i thought it could give me better fps on games by activating fsb 1333 on the bios with this, but it didn't gave much, but in overall i'm happy with it cause my computer is way faster dealing with documents and opening programs and in apps like poser pro and Photoshop it did increased speed. i would highly recommend this if you want to increase performance on your computer and the best thing, is not expensive so come on try it.

Works as advertised
Got the product a few weeks ago and installed it on an old optiplex 755 and it has gave it a boost. Has been good and no problems installing.
