Receive item in good packing condition without any damage during shipping. After checking working well but you have sent me the wrong len hood. It should be EW-73 II Hood not EW-73B. The hood can't fix nicely. Please see the attached pictures. Hope that you can replace to me. Thanks

    awesome product

    The Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 Lens is an awesome product. it is exactly what i wanted and takes such clear crisp photos. its small and compact and allows you to carry the camera around without the bulky lens sticking out and getting it the way.

    Very good

    I love this lense :) The price is reasonable. I have 50mm f1.8 canon lense, it is better than 50mm f1.8 because no noisy and good focusing. Good for night photo It is easy to carry coz the product is so small. Thanks.

    For the price, value, great lens to have in your bag

    I'm relatively new to photography but I did the research, read the reviews, bought the 40 and have started experimenting. I think it's a great lens so far. Tried it with my EF25 11 extender and it takes a pretty good macro too! Mick

    Overall a decent quality lens which have a "toy" feeling

    Good lens for the price. Not made in Japan though. Easy to carry, it feels like your lens has been somewhat "cut off"...! Not up to an "L" lens in my opinion but fun to use.
