    Very good scope for the money, decent optics and very tough.

    I bought this scope for two reasons. The first was to help me sight in my scoped rifles and the second was to have a kicking around scope for the campsite. For sighting in the rifles at 100 yards, super. 200 yards great. 300 yards, eh adequate. If I buy another scope I will probably get one I can look down into rather than straight through. For a scope sitting around the campground, this is an excellent buy. It is nice enough for the adults to enjoy, but also durable and tough enough for the kids to play pirate. The tripod on the one I purchased was an aftermarket variety and works great.

    Exceptional value for the money.

    While the scope is a tad long compared to more modern designs the clarity is exceptional and even at near dark it really gathered the light and the target was crystal clear. Probably need to upgrade the tripod in the future.
