Product Information

In Steven Brill's WITHOUT A PADDLE, three friends embark on a hilariously dangerous adventure through the woods of the Pacific Northwest. When their childhood friend Billy dies, 30-year-old buddies Dan (Seth Green), Tom (Dax Shepard), and Jerry (Matthew Lillard) return home to pay their respects. While there, they unearth a map that Billy left behind, which may or may not lead to a hidden treasure. Dan is a germ-phobic doctor who would rather spend his time anywhere but in the wilderness, but the recently dumped Jerry and down-on-his-luck Tom are intent on fulfilling their friend's lifelong dream; and so begins the trio's journey. It isn't long before things begin to spiral out of control. Starting with a gigantic bear that mistakes Dan for one of its own, the guys are also on the run from two pot-growing maniacs (Ethan Suplee, Abraham Benrubi) who are looking for revenge after their marijuana farm is burned to a crisp. Of course, what would a wilderness expedition be without raging rapids, a towering waterfall, beautiful (but hairy) hippy chicks, and an encounter with a menacing mountain man (Burt Reynolds). Brill's madcap adventure gleefully references DELIVERANCE and 1980s pop culture, and features spot-on performances from Green, Lillard, and Shepard.

    Please avoid this movie

    Ever wanted to know what "downstairs" means? Your enjoyment of Without A Paddle is going to depend upon whether or not you like Seth Green and Matthew Lillard. Personally, I've always thought Green was funny and thought Lillard was a slightly less obnoxious version of David Arquette. However, the previews appealed to the baser side of my humor - so I put it in my Netflix queue. Four lifelong friends have grown up, taking distinctly different paths in life. When one of them dies in a para-sailing accident, the remaining three (Green, Lillard, and surprisingly funny newcomer Dax Shepard) decide to take one last adventure to find some hidden treasure they were obsessed with as children that seems to be hidden in the woods somewhere.     Good movie to watch when bored

    It's Deliverance meets Road Trip!" You can almost see the pasty-faced movie execs chortling to themselves about the endless comic possibilities. Crazy rednecks! Bear attacks! Women who don't shave their legs! Surely even the most humourless sap couldn't refuse such comic gold? Well, you've probably already made up your mind whether you're going to find Without a Paddle comic gold or not. For better or worse, it's exactly the film that you know it’s going to be.     Good Movie

    Good movie. It's funny, has amazing scenery, and worth the watch. There are some parts that are a little crude and definitely not for kids, but overall a good movie.

    without a paddle, the truth

    Without a paddle is overall a pretty good movie. It has a lot of crazy humor in it, like a scene where 3 grown men are forced to snuggle together in their underwear in a wet cave, in order to stay warm. I don't know who gave this movie a "poor" rating, but it was probably an adult. This movie is pretty funny for teens and immature people. I'd recommend buying it, especially for these low prices on eBay. I bought it used on here after watching at a friends house for around $5, and couldnt be happier with it. Enjoy!

    Without A Paddle

    This is a great movie. It will keep you laughing all the way through. Plus it has a really great soundtrack as well. The movie is about 3 guys Dan, Jerry, and Tom (Seth Green, Matthew Lillard, and Dax Shepherd) who all take a treasure hunt trip that they always wanted to do when they were younger. The reason they finally decide to go on it is because their friend Billy died, and they wanted to take the trip for Billy. Well of course as soon as the trip starts unpredictable things start to happen which leads to hilarity. Perfect for any comedy lover.
