Greatest Hits by Tommy Roe
This is just what the title implies, Tommy Roe's greatest hits. All of the songs I was looking for are here along with a few other nice songs: Dizzy, Jam Up and Jelly Tight, Horray for Hazel, Jack and Jill, etc. If you like Tommy Roe then this is for you. I didn't like him much at the time, I was a 1910 Fruitgum Company fan. But the songs have stuck in my head over the years and seem to have held up well. I was surprised after getting the CD to see that Tommy Roe was involved in the writing of most of the hits. I had always assumed someone else churned them out for him. If you never heard of him you will probably not be looking at this, but if you are looking for his best songs then you will be quite happy with this CD. Tommy Roe's Greatest is simply the VERY BEST
As a child of the mid-60's I grew up with my brother listening to Tommy Roe among other artist. Well, that music was the base of my huge collection which I have now. Thousands of cds, crates of lp's and 45's , along with cassettes' galore. This cd has ALL the greatest songs on it. If you liked Tommy and remember one song off this once bought you'll remember them all. I got mine at a great price and am glad I grabbed it when i could. Blast From the Past
This CD brought back many fond memories of my childhood years. Listening to an AM transistor radio under my pillow at night. Sure went through a lot of batteries. Great stuff, glad it's still around. This is the best Tommy Roe hits disc on the market!
