    This is a great book for naturalists & conservationists.

    This series of short essays has so many quotable lines I've lost count. I found myself staying way too late reading "just another chapter'.

    Ecology

    This was a great book on ecology and living green. It shows how we as a society have become very selfish about our natural resources. Mostly due to greed and lack of caring. When the pilgrims landed on Plymouth rock and white men started pushing the native indians west the lack of respect for the land started and has continued to grow. The indians respected what the great spirit provided and took care of it as well as thanking the great spirit for providing what they needed. We have become greedy and selfish thinking we have it coming to us. I'm afraid we will soon learn that there is an end to everything.

    concerns the changing environment

    A wonderful book by a man who saw nature in a wonderful light and addressed the harm man has inflicted on our environment. Should be required reading for all students of natural resources.
