    Good parenting advise

    This method is working very well with my 3 year old and I find I am much more calm in difficult situations. I took one star off as the authors regularly insinuate that not using this type of method will lead to poor decisions about drug use. I think that unfair and there are likely children of love and logic parents who also use drugs in high school. Besides drawing that off putting connections I’ve found the advise to be pretty solid.

    The best, easy to use, make-it-fun-to-raise-a-kid advice out there!

    Want to raise respectful, responsible kids, and have fun doing it? Then this is the book for you! I love Jim Fay and his approach to parenting and teaching. Personally I love this metho~it places the responsibility on the kid and makes the parent the good guy while teaching responsibile decision making at an early age when the price for learning a lesson is small. Great book, great program. As a teacher I used L&L in my classroom and now I teach L&L to parents and educators who want to enjoy the kids and leave the arguments behind. Over he years I have had so many parents say it's the best thing to ever affect the family. I bet if you try it you will love it!

    excellent source for child rearing

    I come from an old school family rearing - the one where the parent who screams the loudest wins and no back talk or your get smacked. Now given that, I only got hit a couple times. When it was time to have my own kids, I just assumed that my kids would respond to the same discipline that I had. Wrong!!! I knew I needed a different technique. This book was recommended to me by a couple of my friends whom are elementary age teachers. Instantly after placing into actions some of the practice ideas, I saw results. It is difficult to train an old dog (parent), but I am trying hard and this book has helped me out tremendously.

    Awesome book - would highly recommend to anyone!

    Awesome book. I just finished reading it and restarted it to engrain the steps into everyday use. My son is doing great with it so far as well! When my husband has time, he will read it also but it has been easy to tell him what the tips have been so we can both be on the same page. Thank you!

    Happy Mommy!

    Love and Logic Parenting has been around for years however, the authors have made this book a practical parenting guide for kids 6 and under. I only knew that the Love and Logic way of parenting was smart and the way I would LOVE my children to be raised, but I needed some help with the practicality of teaching my pre-schoolers. This book is guiding me step by step on how to be a GREAT parent and an even happier Mom.
