    Compelling tale

    I am really enjoying my introduction to Kent Haruf. I had not previously read him. I have ordered a couple other books written by him: "Our Souls at Night" and "Plainsong." "The Tie That Binds" is the best place to begin, since this was Haruf's debut novel. What a compelling story. Haruf knew the region well and he understood the complexities of the people who live in that landscape. Although he passed away in 2014, I look forward to working my way through his other novels.

    Small town story

    Lives of people in a sleepy Colorado town. It draws you in as the characters develop from the first paragraph. You will want to read all his books.

    i loved the book.i had read one of the authors our books,PLAINSONG,loved it so then got all of the authors other books and they were all good. look forward to future books.
