VERY NICE and must have! ONE EXCEPTION!
LOVE this! LIGHT WEIGHT, very easy and pretty secure! Stops rear swirling while driving, especially with a windshield! Def a must have if you like a more controlled cockpit! Zipper affords breeze on hot days, and moderate temps when the cold is blowing through! THE ONE BIG change I would like, would be reinforced cut outs, or zipper slots for proper addition and positiining of HARNESS'! THAT WOULD MEAN THIS IS PERFECT! I will take to my favorite upholstry shop and add slot and gators to minimize any elements. Probably will do neoprene with an over sock of kevlar and elastic on back side. This would alleviate rain and mud least from soaking harness forward and on to the belts while riding! Im willing to share ideas and specs with techs!LOVE this! YXZ 1000R rear window
I bought this because i put a full windshield on my YXZ for engine break-in as i run around on gravel roads in the county in the fall. I was getting alot of dust inon the cab area and this window mitigated that. It did fit up rather tight in the framework but not hard to install and is better than a loose fit.That is the extent of my use thus far, they say a windshield ear window is too hot in summer riding and that is probably correct-this is my first sidexside, i come from dirt bikequad ranks. keeps the weather out
I have a Yamaha yxz it has a full windshield, on it and if I didn't have a rear window on it , id eat a lot of dirt, dust, mud, we are headed to pa for a fun ride soon ,with friends, thanks for the great products Yamaha , ED K. from ny
