    My Pentax

    First of all I must confess I m a thrift store addict. As an addicted person I decide there is something I want and don't necessarily need and than find it. For years I have been fascinated with 35mm Photography and, Now that the digital age is upon us, 35mm photography is no longer too expensive for me. Recently picked up a nice little Pentax Program Plus 35mm film camera. I have a motor driven film advance system, Four lens that range from one end to the other of the spectrum as far as the magnification applications go. My Pentax never misses a beat on those hard to get no more chance shots. I'm having a blast. The great part about it is I have professional equipment for the fraction of the cost. My Pentax was a wonderful choice of old camera to buy 30years later. Larry D.

    Pentax Camera

    I already owned a Pentax ME Super (that was malfunctioning)which I loved, and wanted to replace. But I found the Program Plus at an excellent price on ebay, a camera that is actually an upgrade to the ME and provides the same basic features, plus one more level of automation if desired. I'm very happy with the camera after testing it in a variety of situations, including night photography. It is not fully automatic, which I don't want, and allows for a high level of creativity, but it does allow for auto exposure control if I choose.

    Why I love the Pentax Program Plus Camera..

    In it's time the Program Plus was almost up there with Canon's A1 camera.The A1 had a tad more options and more powerful motor drive.The Program Plus was a better looking camera in my opinion.It could do what any of the other computerized cameras were doing in it's day.I think it would have fared better if it had given the operator the ability to manually dial in the shutter speed in manual mode.For the most part the camera gives you hours of trouble free service.There is a proverbial cornucopia of lenses to choose from.It may be over thirty years old but you can't go wrong with this camera if you shoot film.The prices are right also.

    USER FRIENDLY MANUAL SLR CAMERA

    GREAT TO USE IF YOU'RE A BEGINNER OR JUST PHOTOGRAPHY ENTHUSIAST. IN TERMS OF QUALITY, IT IS DEFINITELY BETTER THAN ANY POINT-AND-SHOOT DIGITAL CAMERAS, I STILL USE MY PENTAX K1000 FOR ANY OF MY PHOTO ENDEAVORS, AND IT HASN'T FAILED ME. JUST MAKE SURE THAT IF YOU'RE GETTING YOURSELF A USED ONE FROM ANOTHER BUYER, THAT THERE IS AN OPTION FOR A RETURN IN CASE THE CAMERA YOU BUY IS FAULTY, FROM A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. OTHER THAN THAT, IT IS A GREAT CAMERA AND USE IT WITH DIFFERENT TYPES OF LENSES FOR MORE FUN AND EXPERIMENTATION.

    Nice 35mm camera

    I loved shooting 35mm. This camera does a great job, clear and crisp photos with never a problem. 15 years I used this camera. You can be in full control with the F stop and shutter speed. Or you can use it in semi control and let the camera tell you the F stop you should use. Either way, awesome camera.
