À propos de ce produit

Product Information

It started out as a normal day in the kitchen aboard the U.S.S. Pompous, a well-established spacecraft. As Ox was cooking a wonderful soufflé for his fellow marines, the lights began to flicker and a host of alarms sounded. Not only was there something serious going on, but the soufflé was ruined!

After a brief announcement by the captain, hundreds of alien soldiers came aboard and started blasting the once-feared squad of space marines. While the marines tried their best to fend off the aliens, they succumbed to the attack by losing their lives; and they only killed two monsters! Meanwhile, Ox hid in the kitchen and realized that his friends were being decimated. But there was nothing he could do!

The aliens began towing the U.S.S. Pompous to an unknown location. All of a sudden, an alien marine broke through the kitchen door and invaded the area. Ox picked up his trusty frying pan and bludgeoned the alien to death. The chef was furious and vowed to get revenge on the alien scum! Players assume the role of Ox and unlike other characters...he's mightily PO'ed!

Originally debuting for the 3DO, Any Channel's PO'ed is a first-person shooter with two simple objectives: escape the alien homeworld and kick lots of butt! There are 25 levels in all, each with a challenging array of horrific aliens to destroy, switch puzzles to solve, and platforming elements. Ox can either walk throughout the levels or utilize an ultra-powerful jetpack; use the latter in moderation as it's an important, yet limited tool.

Naturally, the alien forces aren't pleased with your resistance. You'll have to tackle an entire army of aliens including the ugly Butthead, blob-like creatures, horrific Incubus flyers, wild dogs, muscular rock-throwing trolls, and the destructive Cypider. Fortunately, you'll be supplied with an equally destructive arsenal of weapons including a default frying pan, the bloody butcher knife, a flame thrower, the gattling-wailer, a rocket launcher, and the warhead missile launching Missile-Cam. There's even a meatball launcher called the Meat Seeker!

In addition to the vast array of weaponry, PO'ed features a wealth of power-ups including health regenerators and fuel for the jetpack. Players can also utilize ammunition and health extenders that increase each respective unit by 100. There are also power stations scattered throughout the alien world that reward the player with full health, energy, and petroleum.

Question is: are you PO'ed enough to destroy the alien homeworld and escape with your life in tact? Grab your frying pan and get ready to find out!

  • PO'ED

Another Doom Clone. The graphics are not as good as Doom and the stupid and moronic use of nudity. I find that walking butts shooting feces at you is rather discusting. Who made this game? A 12 year old? Unfortunately Playstation was desperate to get games at its start. Steer away unless you want every game Playstation Has.

  • PO'ed is Breathtaking in Originality

This game has a very unique blend of enemies and weapons unlike most typical first person shooters. Not your typical "ohh I am in hell, let me shoot the monsters or Aliens. You play as a cook in this awesome game. The Top Three Home Console First Person Shooters: #1: Duke Nukem 64 for the Nintendo 64 #2: Disruptor for the Playstation #3: PO'ed for the Playstation and 3D0

  • po'ed is good

i first played this game on the 3d0 as a demo now i own the ps1 version after many years of searching for it, it is an excellant game and it is very simular to doom, in my opinion better in some ways, especially being able to fly via a jet pack. walking bums firing poo is also daft but the whole game is like that, after all isn't that what game are for? a bit of fun. i like the way you get a frying pan to beat things with its just great if you dont own it try and buy it its worth the search
